Oops I did it again!

Another apology - I have been chasing my tail these last few days and yet again forgot to announce the winner of Michelle's Animal Friends theme, so big congratulations to Patti. On to this week's theme, an easy peasy one for you all as the holidays have started and we are all pushed for time - Buttons. I'm sure we all have a button box or jar so this week is your chance to use up one or two, or more, of those buttons. A quick reminder that you can join in the fun as long as there is at least one Magnolia image on your ATC, and an ATC measures 2.5" x 3.5", you can find more information on the side bar. Below are the Design Team's creations to give you a little inspiration to make your own - and as it's the school holidays how about getting the children to join in the fun too, and we will have a special prize for one under 16 year old joining in with us this week!

Our Animal Friends

This week we are happy to introduce you to Michelle who is our second Once a Month Guest Designer. Many of you will have visited Michelle's blog Stamps, Paper, Scissors and Donkey Smiles and oohd and aahd at her cute furry friends, so they have become the inspiration for this week's theme 'Our Animal Friends'. You can see Michelle's ATC and those of the Design Team below and to join in the fun with us you just need to make an ATC with at least one Magnolia stamp on it and your animal friend. The measurements and details for making ATCs are on the side bar. Please pop back later to find out who has won the Papermania pearl gems and the images, and this week Michelle has kindly offered a little packet of goodies for one lucky entry!

Here's a little bit about Michelle in her own words:

"Howdy from South Texas ! My name is Michelle Oatman; many know me as “MichelleO” or the Donkey Smiles lady. I have been very happily married for over 20 years to my best friend who is unbelievably supportive of my crafting obsession. We live in the country where we raise Miniature Donkeys. They are my second obsession, and are spoiled rotten. I have been “scrapbooking” since my wedding, back in the days of paper, sticker and deco scissors, then came back to it 8 years ago and found the art of paper crafting. My scrapbooking now comes in behind my cards and my stamping and I adore collecting and inking all kinds of stamps, and playing with all kinds of new techniques."

Perfect Pearls

Thank you to everyone who joined in with our Lavender and Lace theme last week. The winner of the packet of paper lace and the stamped images is Vanessa of Nessy's Notes - congratulations, please send me an email with your name and address and I'll get the prize posted to you.

This week our theme is Perfect Pearls, so we would like to see you incorporate pearls, pearl paint, pearl paper or pearl shimmer of some kind on your ATC. Just a reminder that an ATC should measure 3.5 inches x 2.5 inches, and although we allow some overhang of the image and embellishments, please remember that if you intend swapping your ATC you may have to keep within the size. Further information on making an ATC is on the side bar.

Lavender and Lace

This week the theme is Lavender and Lace and we have a pack of Lakeland paper lace to give away and a selection of stamped images from the new Magnolia Summer Club collection. The details for making an ATC are on the side bar, just remember you must include at least one Magnolia stamped image on your ATC. You can use real lace, paper lace or just a lace effect paper along with a main Lavender colour scheme, and please leave us a link to your creation so we can come along and admire your work.
